NHS Dental Fees

NHS charges are banded by treatment type. The standard charges in England are:

Band 1 – £27.90

Covers urgent dental treatment, an examination, diagnosis (e.g., X-rays), advice on preventing future problems, and a treatment plan if necessary.

Band 2 – £76.60

Cover all treatments in Band 1, plus additional treatments such as fillings, extractions, and periodontal treatment.

Band 3 – £332.10

Includes everything in Bands 1 and 2 plus more complex procedures, including crowns, dentures, and bridges.

The dental hygienist Emma, made me feel so comfortable and at ease. The hygienist was not only incredibly skilled but also kind and friendly, taking the time to explain every step of the cleaning process and making sure I was comfortable the entire time. From the first consultation with Ash I immediately felt comfortable and confident as he talked me through the procedure thoroughly from beginning to end in great detail which i really appreciated. I felt completely at ease with Ash and the nurses that worked with him before, during and after the procedure. The whole team from the reception staff to the dental nurses and Ash himself looked after me really well and I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Everyone was friendly and efficient. Since having my implant, I feel like I can smile with confidence again and the implant looks, feels and functions like a natural tooth. I am very anxious when it comes to the dentist, but my wisdom tooth had my anxiety even worse. Sarah explained the procedure in great detail pre opp and post opp. Thank you so much for getting me out of this agony pain. I have have been to so many dentist in the past few months and hoenslty the treatment at Somers Square is abserlouty incredible. The reception staff are so welcoming and nothing is to much trouble . I needed fillings done and prior coming here other dentist were unable to carry this out. I use to be an nhs patient at Somers Square but they have not been able to take me on atm as nhs patient. I definitely recommend SUCHITA, she is am amazing dentist so kind and caring. The empathy she had towards her patient is incredible. So professional and still has very caring nature. She did my fillings twice and I am such nervous patient. Nothing was too much trouble she took her time explaining and carried out the treatment.
